Before  Mr. Delon occupied my time, I spend many, many  hours studying Mr. Pacino. As an actor he is a magnet. It’s hard to take your eyes off of him. He is endlessly  compelling and fascinating. I can remember where I was sitting in the theater (stage right) the first time I saw him which was in Tennessee Williams’ play Camino Real at Lincoln Center in NYC  pre-Godfather around 1970.  He’s given so many wonderful performances- Godfather, Dog Day Afternoon…

The one scene that always makes me smile, no matter how many times I see it is the tango scene from Scent of a Woman. Hooah!

( Yes, he is playing a blind man.  Yes, the girl dancing with Mr. Pacino is now starring in Burn Notice.)
